On-The-Job Training (OJT) before funding is available for reimbursement of training wages paid a new hire during an agreed upon training plan.  Up to 75% reimbursement for employers with 51 or more employees, and up to 50% for employers with 1-50 employees. A qualified Business Services representative will come to your place of business to discuss the parameters of this program and answer any questions you may have.

Participate in our Job Fairs held throughout Suffolk County. Utilize our facility to hold your own on-site recruitment. Events are marketed to thousands of registered One-Stop Center job seekers as well as our extensive database of community organizations.

Post Job Openings

There are two options to post your job opening on the New York State Job Bank:

• Option #1 - Complete a Business Services Job Order Form and return it to us via email gina.romano@suffolkcountyny.gov or fax it to 631-853-6585 and we will post your job opening for you.
• Option #2 –Post it directly on the New York State Job Bank. Send us an email and we will make sure it has been posted properly.

We’ll host your company at one of our seminars called Career Explorations. You’ll have the opportunity to discuss career opportunities in your industry with our job seekers and with our career counselors. Attract qualified candidates that may not have considered your industry.

Free Short-Term Computer workshops

Introduce and increase staff knowledge of computer software applications in our state-of-the-art computer labs at our One-Stop Center.
